Larry Rogers is the Managing Director & Principal for CFA’s Houston office with over thirty years of dealmaking experience as a business owner, corporate buyer, and investment banker. He has completed more than fifty transactions worth over $1.5 billion.
Before joining CFA, Larry was the President of an industrial equipment manufacturer. He acquired the company from its owner, negotiated debt and equity financing, and later sold the business to a large corporate buyer. Larry was also the Vice President – Business Development for a Fortune 100 company and an investment banker representing international clients. He has done deals for clients in the US, Mexico, Canada, Britain, Norway, Germany, Latvia, Japan, Indonesia, and Nigeria. His transactions include:
- Sale of three oil storage terminals
- Sale of four coal mining companies
- Sale of an occupational training business
- Sale of an industrial equipment manufacturer
- Acquisition of a South Texas service business
- Acquisition of a ‘China-proof’ OEM manufacturer
- Acquisition of a multinational water equipment manufacturer
- Equity placement for exploration & production in Nigeria
- Revolving credit facility for a Houston service company
- Long term financing for an equipment rental business
- Re-financing for an international tanker fleet
Larry Rogers has a BS from the United States Merchant Marine Academy, an MBA from the University of Houston, and completed the Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School. He is the chairman of CFA’s equipment industry practice group and President & Chairman of Corporate Finance Securities.
